About Our Mission
We will provide youth with essential social, academic, individual, environmental supports and spiritual development, especially through our drop-in after school center for middle and high school aged students, where healthy interaction, fun and food are shared in a safe, supervised, uplifting, and supportive atmosphere.
We will provide Middle School and High School aged children the opportunity to play FREE indoor team sports: basketball, soccer and volleyball leagues no matter their skill level. Each program will be sponsored by an adult indoor team sports leagues.
We will invite youth to engage in challenging, enriching, and creative activities in partnership with peers, adults and the community partners.
We will empower youth to develop self-advocacy, leadership, and life skills to create pathways to healthy decision making and meaningful community engagement.
We will assist the work of schools and other community agencies/organizations that provide resources for the prevention of youth substance abuse and violence.
We will work to RESTORE the Arts and Entertainment within the youth, providing them with the opportunity to express their talents through an audio and visual recording studio.
We will provide adult education during school hours for the educating of parents in the areas of English as second language (ESL), job search and job readiness training.
